In what was to turn out to be a bad night at the office for Rovers it was in fact Rovers who took the lead. Good work down he right saw Andre the giant take down Pricey for a penalty for Rovers.
Up Stepped Stu Mason if there was pressure on him you could not tell it as he coolly slotted home.
Withington responded and some how fund the net from a tight angle to make t 1 each at the break.
Second half saw Rovers start badly and we were 3-1 down within 5 Min's of the restart through our own bad defending.
Pricey pulled a goal back with his second in as many games . Rovers 2 - 3 . As Rovers pushed for a share of the points Ric our keeper had to go forward for the last corner of the game. Harris on he second attempt crossed and there defender caught the ball with both hands however Ref decided he was a fly goal keeper and they went down the other end to score in an empty net.
Goal put a bit of gloss on there score line. (Gloss word of the Day)
But whether we lost 3-2 or 4-2 we still lost.
Ref Watch
2 out of 10
1 point for finding the pitch and 1 for point for turning up changed.
Other then that dread full.
Should have shown red card in first half when Declan was hacked down while running through on goal.
Missed blatant second pen and gave them everything they whinged for.

4. Declan
Tried to make things happen when others seemed to have forgot what they were playing for.
Managers Point Of View.
For as bad as the ref was at least he turned up.
We however did NT. This was by far the worse display we have produced all season. We chatted after and I hope players listened as we all should know last nights showing was not acceptable in a green shirt.
Disclaimer.

In his absence you have got a low grade version of what is usually a quality report.
