[Venue Change] St Kents pitch was unplayable so we switched to Hough End
[Abandoned] Referee didn’t turn up so we decided not to risk our lives by playing the match.
[Un-abandoned] Referee turns up, we put the nets back up, warm-up again.
[Kick-Off] The match started with wind sweeping from left to right across the pitch.
Play was frenetic, the ball was difficult to control.
[Yellow Card] Nathan was kicked to the ground. His marker seemed not to like him. Yellow card followed.
[Violent Conduct x2] Dec put the ball out for a throw-in and bumped into the wrong spectator. He was kicked, then accused of kicking the spectator; who managed to slap Anto for good measure.
Despite stamps, threats and fouls we stayed composed and played some decent football.
[Goal!] Nathan played Tad down the right, his cross found Pricey who slotted home, 1-0.
Dee was brilliant in the middle of the park.
[Goal] Dee tried to emulate Wayne Rooney’s 50 yard screamer from the previous night. His clearance found Pricey in behind the defence. Fine finish for 2-0.
Second Half started with Rovers looking to finish the game off.
More stamps and tackles came our way.
A Rovers attack saw us 5 on 4. Mo’s shot was going wide but fell to Nathan in-front of goal. His shot went wider than Mo’s original shot.
[Cramp] Dee’s storming performance ended when he went down with cramp in front of the St Kent’s supporters. They encircled him and offered to stretch his calf. A bit like the Russians offering to test drive the Ukranian tanks in the Crimea. Dee refused their offers. One of the St Kents supporters walked up to Dee and kicked him in the head.
[Match Abandoned] Ref said St Kents had to call the police or he wouldn’t continue.
Superb performance in tough conditions. Disciplined at the back. Took our chances to get the results.

Despite getting cramp in the wrong area of the pitch a superb display. Held his own and more in the middle of the park. A performance that provided the foundation for the rest of the team to play their football and get the result.
Ref Watch
9/10
Despite missing an awful lot in terms of stamps and kicks generally did a decent job for an inexperienced ref. Full credit for being strong enough to make the big decision and abandon the match.
