Unfortunately Rovers could not build on the previous week's result with another win against Macclesfield Town to move them up the league cup table. Despite starting quite well and going close with a couple of long-range efforts on goal early on, Rovers never really got into their stride on Sunday and seemed to find it difficult to get even the basics right. But credit to the home side, they had a good win against Oldham the week before and deserved all three points on the balance of play. Graham told the players at half-time that they needed to be more committed and to try to win every ball, but alas, it just wouldn’t click into place despite the best efforts of all twelve players.
This is one that Rovers will definitely want to get out of their system as soon as possible and they have a good chance to do so this weekend against Stockport County Yellows. As football clichés go, you are are only as good as your last result, and this is one that the greens will want to forget as soon as possible!

Managers Point Of View. For the first 20 Min's of this game we were much he better team with good short passing and composure on the ball. After that how ever it went down hill. Don't want to be too harsh as the team is still learning and its hopefully just a blip on an other wise decent season so far. As I said after the game I was very proud of the way the players dealt with the defeat and there behavior tru out the game. Sunday will come round fast as all ways and with it the chance to bury this result.
Managers Player Nat
Tough competition in the middle of the park but Nat gave as good as she got.
Cheers g
