Rovers were on th road again all though only down the road from Hough End.
Rovers started brightly and should have gone ahead well before they made the break tru. When it did come it was a free kick delivered into the box which Ross headed home.
Ross doubled his goals for the season with this strike.
It finished 1 nil to Rover's at half time. The second half was much the same as the first with Rovers dominating the game. Damo made it 2 nil when his quick reactions saw him score from the keepers fumble. Dynamo pulled 1 back. Which was a bit strange as you could not see them scoring. How ever the come back was cut short when Ged who had just come on scored with a top quality chip 3 one Rovers and onto next weeks 1st vs 2nd league clash.
Players Player
Ross
Ross was immense yesterday and has been one of our top performers so far. He lead by example and deserved his goal.
Managers Player
Damo
Full of energy and fight. Plus there was an end product yesterday. Much too strong for there centre mids who for much of the match were reduced to watching him take the ball off them.
Ref Watch
7 out of 10
I still believe that there hand ball in the area was a penalty but to be fair to the ref he had a good game.
Managers Point Of View
This was a bit of a stroll yesterday with Rovers never needing to step out of second gear.
But it was never The less a much needed 3 points.
3 teams came up from our division last year. This team was one of them the other was Cheadle. Both teams are in the bottom 2 which shows this division is a step up from last year.
With that in mind its a credit to the players that this week they will contest a top of the league clash with MUSC.
A real test this week lads you could all do with out the hang overs so visit the Christmas market on Friday instead of Sat lads
Cheers Lads
