all ways a threat down the flank.
Ref watch 5 out of 10
Very poor and the game came close to getting out of control on a few occasions.
Managers point of view.
We made this game hard for ourselves and gave a team 2 divisions below us a much too easy game.
As a team we defended badly. Defensively our shape was wrong and we were caught out over and over again by the same ball.
This was a much charged side from last week but the players who came in are all top players so we cant use that as an excuse.
Damo and Alex were starved of the ball and had to sit there while the ball went up in the air time and time again. The sad thing about this is when they were allowed to get involved they had an impact.
Sending the wingers and strikers free. Basically when we played football we looked dangerous. The red card was right but Sanjay had to make that save or it would have been a goal. Very unlucky as our keeper was playing very well.
Rovers to there credit were the much better side with only 10 men.
Taking the game to the opposition and looked most likely to score with Brandon and Bills coming close near the end. honest lads if we had played like we know we can then this would have been a cricket score but we just made this game harder then it needed to be.
One ting I was proud of was how we conducted ourselves today and pulled together when reduced to 10 men.
Opposition were a disgrace especially asking for cards time and time again. Absolutely disgusting and a sight which sickens me at this level.
Number 9 and 6 being the 2 main culprits.
Grow up . That been said its up to the ref to sort that out personally if I was reffing I would give you a card if you asked for another player to be booked unsporting behavior and a cheats way of trying to get an advantage.
Cheers lads g
