This game was played last Thursday evening. Rovers starting the game with 11 players the first time in 2 games and 2 subs on there way
Rovers got off to a flying start with Scarlet scoring after 10 Min's.
Scarlet came close to doubling the lead but shot just wide.
However after that Maccelsfield had the better of the first half scoring 3 goals in quick succession. ( a big shout for all 3 being off side)
Things could have been worse for Rovers but to be fair the girls showed great fighting spirit and Scarlet scored just before half time to make it 3 two at the break.
At half time we talked about how we had created our own problems by not moving the ball around and letting our football do the talking. The second half we went out and did exactly that and played Macclesfield off the park. There frustration was showing on there side lines with some outrageous shouts.
Rovers were now pressing all over the park and had chances tru Scarlet and Chloe to level. Then there player hacked down scarlet for a pen. ( despite what there manager thought this was as clear cut a pen as you could get and with that ref it would have to be as he gave us nothing all evening). Rachel under some pressure Leveled from the spot with a great penalty. We had chances to win it Alison Mc G headed just over from Rachel's corner and Macc had the post to thank when it stopped Scarlets shot. Rovers deserved more then a point here but it finished 3 each.

The second half saw a great performance from Rovers and it made it hard to pick as everyone played above and beyond.
Gone for 3 players here as could nt choose. Rachel Scarlet and Cris .
Ref Watch
0 out of 10
Spent more time having a personal feud with Scarlet then reffing the game the yellow card was a joke . Challenge was no more then a shoulder barge. Missed far too many off sides .
And could nt control there side line .
Managers point of view.
First half we struggled to get going but to the players credit the second half's performance was full of energy and determination with some great football on display. This result meant the team is undefeated in there last 4 games stretching back to the 14th of March . Hopefully we can take this through to the last game of the season and make it 5 games.
Cheers girls g.
