Team Gk Ric RB Mason CH Ross CH Andy E LB White RM Fraser Sub 70 Weavo CM Demo CM Alex LM Harris CF Bills CF Den
Rovers made a few changes this week, which showed at first as Cheadle had the upper hand in the 20 mins. Not much football being played as the tackles went flying (more look the merseyside derby). Rovers finally got the ball down and started to play when demo cross short caught the Cheadle keeper of guard and put us 1-0 up with Dennis making 2-0 from a corner cleared later on in the half.
Second half Cheadle keep out fired up and finally scored from a well work short corner. They should have has a second but a good double safe from Ric kept them out. Dennis and Harris worked well for the 3rd scored by Dennis.
Then with Cheadle pushing for goals on Alex scored the 4th with some good work on the left side. Rovers then went on to score a 5th when Bills robbed there right back and put Harris through... Game Over!!!!
Ref did a decent job needs to keep an eye out more on the late afters that occurred
Man of the match would between Two players: Ric keeping us in the game Alex for his hard work in controlling the middle
Well done lads for the good effort we put in on Sunday and for not dropping to the cheadle level of kicking...
If i got it wrong lads sorry!!! think is right

I would have posted earlier by i can never remember any details due to repeated bangs on the head as a child.
What i do remember is the period in the second half when they had scored and we were under a lot of pressure. We kept giving the ball away and not pushing out and it invited pressure. then suddenly, we got it again. We passed it, got it wide and scored another 3 good goals. It was very resilient of us. And probably down to brilliant play from the 2 centre halfs.
We don't need to get too worked up about the number 20 slapping 3 players behind the refs back (what ever happened to a manly punch yer big nancy boy), falling over every 2 minutes, barging people, late tackles, kicking out at people and spitting in Bills face at the end of the game (Very restrained Bills). I mean he did spend the second half freezing his micro thingy off on the side line after his own manager had had enough of his childish antics and subbed him. His manager hates him, his team mates hate him, his mummy hates him, he's as ugly as sin and he plays for a team that has a cumulative record of scored 3, conceeded 17 against the Rovers this year. In your face bell wiff!
Great win, in hostile circumstances. MoM between Ric for his shameless self promotion but also keeping us in the game and Alex for his spindly legs surviving a snapping in midfield. And Damo meant it.
