Again would like to see a match report from the lads who were there. Come on you have signed up to the message board use it . Air your views and thoughts positive and negative. Gk Greg Foster Rb Rob Tanti Lb Kyle Askew Ch Adam Fletcher Ch Chris Eastwood Rw Tony Farrell Lw Stewart Wishart (Goal) Cm Hassan Farrah Sub Lynden Cm Chris Cooney St Lee Sharples St Steve Fraiser (Goal)
This was never going to be easy playing a team from the division above in the cup. The thoughts and views i got from the players who played in this game were mixed. 3 nil down inside 4 minutes . But pulled it back to 4 2 down and had a good deal of the ball. The heavy score line coming after a major colapse in the last 20 minutes. Cant give you a man of the match because no one filled it in . All though that said the manager should be making sure you fill it in. Next week give him your votes and make sure he writes it down.

Not sure where to start really.
Going down 3 goals in the space of 5 minutes was never going to be easy but we came back quite well to pull it back, not sure what went wrong really after that. We had them rattled at various stages and when we actually had the ball down and got forward into the final third, caused them a few problems.
I thought we could have made better use of our throwins if im honest, quite a lot were sent long against a defending player who always seemed to get a better jump or just be taller, it didnt help them having the equivalent of peter crouch at centre half either.
Obviously a lot of us haven't played together until Sunday but i saw more than enough to know that we could play a lot better given a few games together and i for one am looking forward to it.
On a side note it was my first game of real football in over 10 years, i didnt feel like i got involved enough and was a bit of a culture shock from all the five aside ive been playing, ill be doing my best to rectify that this Sunday and in future games!

Unlucky lads. Keep your heads up and work hard. It'll take time to gel, I only recognise half of these players and I've only been away for Christmas. Good luck with the rest of the season - I'm having to retire from sundays because of a recent knee injury not healing properly playing 2 games in 2 days every week.
