Rovers Finally Get a Win!!
Rovers first victory since 20th Oct and best performance since the draw at Govan. A much better performance and solid display which showed that we're not too far away from the challenging good teams, but we need to be doing this week in week out. Paul McNeill opened the scoring from a Harinder Bajwa cross, and McNeill repayed the favour shortly after. 2-0 at half time and comfortable on the ball, Rover never looked troubled and increased their lead in the second half with strikes from Harinder Bajwa and substitute Ged Hawes. Staley did get a consolation goal before Paul McNeill converted a corner for his second and Rovers 5th.
The Manager said: "We played well in spells, as we have done in most matches this season. I think the opposition was poor in comparison to previous weeks but we still had to get the 3 points which we have done convincingly. We do have 2 really tough games coming up and I hope we can take what we have achieved today into the next to games."

I thought it was a good positive performance from rovers. The team looked solid and the addition of Ashley to defence made a big difference to the organisation of the team defensively. We play top of the league next week (I think) so its a good chance to put in a good display and test our selfs against the current best .
