I have to say that this was always going to be a tough match for Rovers. With 6 players who appeared against Showmans Res unavailable, there were a few new faces once again. But there were promising signs to be taken once again from te match. Coming back from a goal down to equalise shows great strength in character, and only going in 3-1 at half time - the same scoreline as the first match of the season (which we won) shows that a result is not far away. Also, I believe they had an outstanding player who was difficult to deal with. 7-1 is not that bad a result. We still need to build as a team and show a little more tactical communication by talking to each other on the pitch. This doesn't mean shouts of "This is rubbish Rovers Let's pick it up". I mean players on the park giving constructive talk about their surroundings.
