Yes looking at the team on paper we had a good squad. everyone played exceptionally well in the first half they scored a lucky goal in the first 3 mins. Second half we didnt play as well but the substitutions which were made, did make a difference. We scored. Again all i want to say is at half time i dont want 2 players coming up to me and saying sub such a person off because he is getting beat all the time. At the end of the day their goal came straight down the middle and the person did his job in the first half. I really dont think its positive with certain players trying to dictate in what substitues are made. Rich i was really concerned with you on sunday you were not yourself so i think i made the right descision. this is not like us to take defeat like this. in the cup game this sunday there will be significant changes and i want to see everyone give 100% if you dont fell 100% tell me and i can put someone there who will give that. I didnt play obviously so i cant say anything about the game, as long as my injury clears up ill be ok to play sunday again. Lets try put these last few results behind us and start again... Everyone needs to be supportive and not let mistakes drag us down. Pick the individual up and get back in the game, instead of getting on there back and making the situation worse.
Bring on sunday

Well done James, I thought you played really well, in my opinion you were Man of the Match by a mile.
Not trying to be too critical here boys but personally I thought we were poor as a team, we shouldn't be blaming individuals. We had some moments when we completely dominated and played some really good football but overall they created more chances than we did and if it wasn't for James they could have had a few more at least.
I thought the ball came out of defence far too quickly, everything was hit long and by passed the midfield completely. We need to keep the ball on the ground more and pass it around, we are a good passing team on our day. We should have got the ball out wide a lot more and taken advantage of Brandon's pace and John Butlers crossing, I don't remember any crosses going in the box.
We also need to learn that playing offside at Sunday football is never going to work, the ref will only give it if it's absolutely clear. He doesn't have any lino's so it's hard to call and he will more often than not play the advantage to the attackers. We're trying to play offside far too high up the pitch and then standing there shouting at the ref whilst their striker goes one on one with the keeper! If it wasn't for Mark H's pace and their poor finishing they would have punished us more.
We were also very quite, I agree with Jay that Ritchie Pearson wasn't his normal commanding self and we missed Ed even if just for his talking. Still, we've all got to take some responsibility and make some noise, give encouragement and let people know when they've got a man on or you're in space. Make some noise!!
Finally, how about we start putting some challenges in!! I'm not talking about bad tackles, I'm talking about hard tackles, don't be afraid, win the ball, let the other player know you're there. Let's be strong and fight for the ball!!
Come on boys, Sunday morning football is great, we all play because we enjoy it but you have to admit that going to work on Monday morning with 3 points is better than going to work with none!!
Anyway, enough of my ranting, I should really get back to work.
