Fantastic result lads. Well deserved especially after the dissapointment of last week. Good performances by all and especially John Butler coming back into the side to score and get man of the match. A controversial winnig goal in the fact everyone is unsure who it should be credited to. On discussing the matter with a few of the players it has been decided by the committee that the goal is awarded to Robert Tanti and not John Butler. I'm sure there will be many discussions about this over the week. Once again well done to all.
COME ON ROVERS!!!

yeah good result lads!
i might get slattered for saying this but i've got to say that i wouldn't get too carried away with the manner of the win, we played some good football at times but we all know that we can play a lot better than what we did, i think we made the game very difficult for ourselves by playing to their standards.
i suppose the main thing is that we got the 3 points but i feel that there is a hugh room for improvement in the way we dominate games.
if you dont like what i'm saying please let me know.

I was always told the ref's decision was final & the ref gave the goal to John!!
Also would like to say I agree with Brandon. We won but did'nt play anywhere near as good as we did last week. The defence was solid, apart from a couple of mistakes they coped with everthing. The midfield did well defensively but I felt that apart from John Butler they did'nt get forward enought in support of the forwards. The forwards did their jobs, thought Brandon & Rob linked well until Brandon had to go off & that Jason took his goal well. Overall a reasonable performance but plenty of room for improvement

Yes Lee, but as it says in my comments IT IS A CLUB COMMITTEE DECISION. Unfortunately you are no longer on the committee and so your comments were noted but the decision was made in favour of Robert. The committee also allocate certain own goal decisions to players without any referee's (or league's) consent. Hence the decision stands and Robert is credited with the goal.

Sorry Dave, misread your comment, any way was just being facetious no complaints about Rob getting the goal. Should be at training Thursday so will bring you your whistle. Can you bring my training top?
