Tranmere Rovers!!!
Well not quite but Tranmere Rovers are hiring out the pitch at Prenton Park at the end of the season from the 7th to the 28th May.
For 90 minutes it costs £600 - if we got 11 a side it'd be around £27 each. If we had subs too then it would be cheaper but not everyone would get a full game.
Let me know what you think, and any preferences on a date. If we get enough interested it could be worth doing.

Sounds great, count me in!
If you can't get enough players let me know, I've got a mate who's team might be intersted, we could play against them.

If you can book Sunday 21st May, then I think we should have a 1stXI v 2ndXI match. The club may be able to subsidise some of the cost as well.
What do you think?

I know a few of my mates in other teams who'd be interested so we could play a rovers XI against world XI.
World being other people we know not Ronaldinho, Eto'o etc.

;DI'm up for a bit of that! I agree with Cooky that dodging dog-poo and shards of cans and bottles is all part of our great game, but I'm sure we can slum it for a one off.......

Yeah, it sounds like a laugh. I'm use to playing bigger grounds but suppose I can slum it for the day.

Not a bad response so far.
I've been in touch with Tranmere Rovers. They've got commitments to school & area cup finals etc so are currently planning them in.
At the moment they're just taking enquries so I've asked for Sunday 21st May as a preferred date. They've got my number and will call me back (probably next week) to confirm.

Are our friends and family allowed to watch... its always been a dream of my dads to see me play on a first divison ground? maybe i should tell him the first division is actually the 3rd division now?
Im up for it. if we're struggling, my mates a season ticket holder there, so no doubt he'd be well up for it.
